Going back in, again and again

This year, Corina and I can feel our collaboration benefit from the lessons and experiences of previous years of work together: the theme came together weeks before our scheduled art-making time; the concepts and images materialized quickly; and we envisioned a workable strategy for completing 12 pieces of original collaborative art in 9 days. 

Taking risks is inherent to making art—even if those risks remain hidden from others, they will reveal themselves in the aesthetic properties of the resulting piece of art.
